No time

I have been MIA - AGAIN! I got a new job (which I hate and have to get out of but it took me 11 months to find this one) and I don't get home until 7:00 p.m. Not much time for blogging and creating. MY MOM'S SPECIAL CARD

This card was made for MY special mom. I always love to do something special for her. It literally took me 15, count them, 15 hours to make this card. Lots of cutting, trimming, pasting, glittering (I know it isn't a word, but humor me for now). I hope she enjoys it as much as I loved making it for her. Hell, I think I may go get her a frame and frame it!

I have been sick for a couple of weeks and feeling like hell and just haven't really been on my computer much. I just realized that my blog background is gone. I looked closely and it said the "person removed it." I didn't remove anything. How odd! Took me forever to select the one I wanted. I guess the "owner" removed them. Who knows. Back to the drawing board.

Yay! The vet called and my Maggie's growth was benign. Just have to wait until Wednesday to get her stitches out. Thank you everyone for asking about her!

I am taking medicine, which my mom thinks she is really smart by hiding in cheese, I know it's there but I just try to appease her because she is taking care of me! Thanks again for thinking of me! Skipping Stones Design

I have found this "blog" and have found some stamps that I really like and wanted to order on this site. However, it appears to just be a blog to me. I added stamps to my cart, but I have to have a login name and password but there is nowhere that I see to "register." I have e-mailed them twice and haven't heard anything from anyone. Have any of you ladies heard of these stamps? I wanted a couple of sets but now am a little nervous to order them if I am ever able to order them.

My Little Maggie

Thank you ladies for your thoughts and prayers for my little Maggie. She did really great today the vet said. They lasered a couple of small growths from her eyelid, cleaned her teeth and took a tumor off her belly. The vet thinks the tumor is just a growth and will not be cancerous. Keep your fingers crossed. Thank you again for the good wishes. Some people don't get "animal lovers" but thank God there are more that do than don't! I appreciate all of you for thinking of us. This is my little Maggie. She will be having a little surgery on Wednesday so I may not be here for a couple of days. Wish us luck...I just love and adore her!

Loving Purple

To Give or Not to Give~That is the Question

This is a birthday card that I made for my friend's mother, however, I'm not sure I like it that much. I may have to make a different one. Supplies: Bazzill, Basic Grey and Stampin' Up cardstock, Stampin' Up stamp, Stampin' Up ink, Tim Holtz distressed ink, sandpaper, ribbon, purple crystal and pearl beads.

This is my first (distressed) tri-fold card. I thought it was going to be bigger. When it is open, it is 3x11 and closed it is 3x3. I think I need to find a bigger pattern. Supplies: SU cardstock, micsellaneous pattern paper, embossed tags (found at Michaels), Prima flowers, Tim Holtz distressed Stickles. Have a great day!

Roses In Winter

I love this card, even if I do say so myself. I distressed the edges of the pattern paper with sandpaper and scissors. No need to pay alot of money for distressing tools when you have scissors and you can buy a pack of sandpaper for $1.00 Supplies: SU Rose In Winter set, SU cardstock: White, Ink: Mellow Moss, Passion Pink, Distress Paint: Tim Holz (white) Distress Ink: Tim Holz (Antiqiue Linen), Miscellaneous pattern paper, two pink crystals and a green ribbon.
